Sydney Bright is a producer and development executive specializing in animation for global audiences. As Head of Global Animation at WEBTOON Productions, she leads the development and production of animated series and features based on some of the world’s most popular digital IP, bringing stories with built-in fandoms to major platforms including Amazon, Netflix, and beyond.

With over 15 years of experience across television, film, and representation, Sydney has built her career at the intersection of creative storytelling and strategic development. Her work focuses on identifying high-potential IP, shaping it into premium, market-ready projects, and partnering with top studios and creators around the world to bring those stories to life.

Sydney is particularly passionate about the rise of digital-first storytelling and the opportunity to translate globally resonant, fan-driven properties into culturally impactful franchises. She has been recognized as one of Hollywood’s New Leaders and is a frequent speaker on the future of animation, IP adaptation, and the evolving entertainment landscape.

Outside of her executive work, Sydney is an educator and mentor, serving as a Senior Lecturer Professor at Loyola Marymount University, where she teaches animation and development while supporting emerging creators as they navigate the industry.
